My pups regular food was out of stock so I had to get a different one. He is very picky so no matter what I get it has to be beef . Flavored so I got him a different one beef flavored and he wouldn't touch it unless he was starving. I was at my wits end I just got 24 pounds of dog food. He is a chihuahua/ dachshund so he is not a big boy and i don't know if it was my imagination but he looked like he was losing weight his coat felt brittle and his poop was dry little marbles . My son suggested we try a topper so I looked and got this one . We waited shipping was fast thankfully and I gave him a fresh bowl of food he looked at it and walked away. Then I open this bottle up and he perked up I know he smelled it it smells good ,I sprinkled it on and mixed it in because I thought he would just lick it off and leave the food. To my surprise he ate every bite .Now some might think it was because he was hungry . But at his next feeding time he walked over to the bowl and sat next to it so I gave him some food and as soon as I opened the can I could barely get it in the bowl he was trying to eat it in the air. LolNow he goes to his bowl and sits (something I have been trying to get him to do for years)? I'm so happy everything is back to normal and we couldn't be happier. It's a little pricey but it is enough to last for quite a few feedings since you are only sprinkling on maybe 1/2 a teaspoon Maybe less the bottle says 2-4 teaspoons per 1 cup of food . It is worth it to see him eating with vigor again.
